"Swordmage: Blades of the Moonsea" is the first book in the Forgotten Realms Blades of Moonsea series by Richard Baker, published in 2008. The fantasy novel follows a swordmage named Geran Hulmaster as he returns to his hometown of Hulburg and uncovers a conspiracy involving corrupt merchants and a necromancer. It is set in the Forgotten Realms universe and was written to incorporate new elements from the 4th edition of the Dungeons & Dragons game.
