The word Lectorium comes from the Latin language, and it translates to a dedicated room or space for reading. Small, sometimes hidden away, this would be a place where a reader could immerse themselves in whatever text they desired without interruption or prying eyes. Books have always been a passion of mine, as much for their beauty as the weight of their words. I was surrounded by books as child, and like so many of you, I have always found solace and adventure between their pages.
I have seen the atrocities mankind will commit in the name of words scribbled in ink. Nevertheless, I believe in books, I believe that one man can transcribe his observations or opinions and those words can reverberate for millennia. I will not censor any author, and I will not censor any published work. I will sell any book I acquire to any person who wants it, if their mind or heart is to be poisoned, it will not be by my hand, but by their own interpretations and actions.
