Corsair is the second book in Richard Baker's Blades of the Moonsea series, a fantasy novel set in the Forgotten Realms universe. The story follows Geran, a swordmage tasked with stopping the ruthless pirate Kamoth Kastelmar and his fleet, the Black Moon Corsairs, who are threatening the city of Hulburg. Geran must infiltrate the pirate ranks to find a way to defeat them, but he soon discovers their motives are tied to a deeper, personal revenge against his own family. 
Plot: Geran is sent to track down the pirates and stop them from destroying Hulburg. He learns that the pirate captain, Kamoth Kastelmar, is seeking revenge against the Harmach of Hulburg, and that Kamoth is related to Geran's enemies. The situation becomes more complicated when the pirates kidnap the woman Geran loves. 
Series: Corsair is the second book in the Blades of the Moonsea trilogy, following Swordmage and preceding Avenger.
